ANDROMEDA FIGHT LEAGUE BACKSTORY

MEET SOME OF THE AFL FIGHTERS

WATER MAGICIAN

Water Magician comes from the former planet of Arcanus—1, which was destroyed in the 3rd great Magic War. Although his Magic Watersphere was instrumental in preventing the destruction of other planets, he still feels responsible for Arcanus-1. Considered one of the greatest water ele— mental users, he often mentors other water elementalists, especially his cousin, Aqua Magician. He is a strong contender for the AFL and an accomplished magic user. AFL FIGHTER NO: 009 – LEVEL 3

BATTLE NINJA

Battle Ninja is one of the few surviving members of The Founding of the Howverq Mutiny. The Howverq Mutiny (also known as The Soldiers of the 7th Millennial War) was a society created to overthrow the Galactic Chancellor who ruled at the time. The resulting war was possibly the most destructive of the last three Millennial Wars, spawning several smaller wars including the 3rd great Magic War and the Draconic uprising. Despite his checkered background, Battle Ninja is now a loyal member of the AFL; he often acts as a peace officer. He comes from planet J—X—008 of the Andromeda Galaxy. AFL FIGHTER NO: 029 – LEVEL 6

COMBAT ZOMBIE

Combat zombie is one of the last known survivors of the Necrom Galaxy, which was completely obliterated in the 5th Millennial War. Considering the vulnerability of his race, it is surprising that he has lived this long. He is one of the few known Necromians to have discovered cross—spatial travel, and possibly the only one to use it better than some magical scientists. Although he has no special Powers or Abilities, his brute attack makes him a solid choice for the AFL. AFL FIGHTER NO: 017 – LEVEL 4

FAST STRIKE SOLDIER

Fast Strike Soldier is almost unique in the AFL because of the fact that he is not known to come from any charted galaxy. After awakening on a remote planet just outside the Andromeda Galaxy with no memories, he proceeded to join the Howverq Mutiny (see Battle Ninja). He has many abilities, certain of which have even the most renowned magical scientists perplexed. As a result, he is viewed with suspicion by some Drafters and outright dislike by a few others. Despite this, he is an effective combatant in the AFL. AFL FIGHTER NO: 028 – LEVEL 6

OVERLORD DRAGON

The undisputed if unofficial leader of the Dragon Federation, Overlord Dragon originates from Jouk’uyl of the Beastacom Galaxy. Had it not been for him, the BIRD triunity might have completely destroyed the Dragon Federation in the one and only Beastacom conflict. Notwithstanding the fact that he leaves most of the hard brain-work to White Dragon, he is a skilled negotiator and, when necessary, fighter. In the first intergalactic assembly, he proposed the idea of a fight league of “super squads”. Though the idea was rejected at the time, in the Seventh Intergalactic Assembly the idea was resurrected and lead to the formation of the AFL. He now proudly competes in the league he helped to form. AFL FIGHTER NO: 035 – LEVEL 7

SHADE BEAST

Shade Beast (and his brother, Beast in the Shadows) comes from the mostly uninhabited outer fringes of the Beastacom Galaxy. Their home planet has no official name, but is commonly referred to as ‘Shathown’. Unlike many fighters in the AFL, the Beasts took no part in any major war, although they are rumored to have defended their planet from the Howverq Mutiny. After joining the AFL, they parted ways, vowing to become stronger than the other. They are legendary for their ability to immediately destroy any of the most powerful fighters in the AFL. AFL FIGHTER NO: 037 – LEVEL 8

SKYBIRD

From Kytou’nubav of the Beastacom galaxy, Skybird is the founding member of the BIRD triunity. The three BIRDs, although outwardly weak, have honed their legendary Whirlwing Blade to an edge that can cut through all known substances. All three BIRDs are ruthless, but Skybird possibly the most so. In the 5th Millennial War, he and the other BIRDs fought against the Necromians; Skybird almost singlehandedly destroyed their Necromian capital planet of N’com’atai. Although he is bound by the strict rules of the AFL, and will fight for the Drafter who drafts him, Skybird remains as pitiless as ever, and will not hesitate to destroy an ally who gets in the way. AFL FIGHTER NO: 020 – LEVEL 4

UNSTABLE CANISTER OF MAGIC

The Unstable Canister of Magic was created by the brilliant but eccentric magical scientist Knokk Gwernkle on the planet Arcanus-8. After being paralyzed in an explosion, erenkl implanted his consciousness into Unstable Canister via an ancient Keltoniam chip, the making of which was thought to be forgotten. However, the antique Keltoniam chip was damaged, causing the Unstable Canister to become magically unstable. Now, although it is one of the most magic-filled fighters in the AFL, it does have an unfortunate tendency to explode at inconvenient times. AFL FIGHTER NO: 021 – LEVEL 4

WATER MAGICIAN

Water Magician comes from the former planet of Arcanus-1, which was destroyed in the 3rd great Magic War. Although his Magic Watersphere was instrumental in preventing the destruction of other planets, he still feels responsible for Arcanus-1. Considered one of the greatest water elemental users, he often mentors other water elementalists, especially his cousin, Aqua Magician. He is a strong contender for the AFL and an accomplished magic user. AFL FIGHTER NO: 009 – LEVEL 3

WHITE DRAGON

Hailing from the Bestacom galaxy, (other information about his home planet is unknown), White Dragon is one of the more intelligent members of the Dragon Federation. Although not the first beast to discover and use cross-spatial travel, he was the first Dragon to use cross-spatial travel to voyage to the AFL’s main planet of KELT-3A. His White Fire power makes him an accurate and effective member of the AFL. AFL FIGHTER NO: 013 – LEVEL 4

CROSS SWORDSMAN

Born on Eyrthh of the Andromeda Galaxy, Cross—swordsman is constantly hampered by Eyrthh humans’ weak constitution. In the AFL, he weilds two swords imbued with magic so as to never break. These swords were a gift from his father, who died to help establish the AFL. Spurred on by the memory of his father, Cross—swordsman is a champion ofjustice. After ages of hard work, he remains as limited as ever, but through his training he has learned to fight back against and damage even the most powerful opponents. AFL FIGHTER NO: 024 – LEVEL 5
